Who We Are

Schenectady County Embraces Diversity (SCED) was created by a group of local organizations in 1998 to use this model to actively explore and celebrate the diversity of Schenectady County residents. More than 2,225 adults and youth have participated in discussions on race relations and diversity, responses to terrorism and community-police relations, using trained facilitators and proven materials from Everyday Democracy in Connecticut.
